Ladybugg’s

It’s been quite some time since I have come to this site as I had totally forgotten I even had this website and I came upon it quite by accident. Anyways, a lot has happened since the beginning of the site. My Mom died, her passing was totally unexpected. I taught my daughter to drive and in about 2 months she got her drivers license. She has been on the run since. A little taste of freedom goes a long ways I guess. She still hasn’t signed up for housing which once you finally get on the list it takes about a year before you actually get the housing. Nick is still the same. Still working at the same place, still complaining about it, still complaining about just about everything and nothing is ever his fault. He expects everyone to march to his tune instead of the other way around.

We now have someone living with us. It just happened. God allowed a certain situation to happen which enabled her to move in with us. Both her and a dog. Fortunately our dogs get along, we have 4.

We also now have 2 kittens. It’s funny how we got them. Our friend was dumpster diving and found the mother cat tied to a carrier and her 7 kittens in a compacter dumpster. 2 of the kittens had already been crushed. And so we ended up with a mother cat and 5 kittens. We re-homed 3 of the kittens and kept 2. Surprisingly that was my husbands idea. The dogs are slowly getting used to the cats and life seems to be on an even kiel for now.

Baklava sales are starting to pick up, & fudge is just starting to ramp up. Honest to God I barely had my website advertising fudge when I had a bite in about 8 hours. What a surprise and a nice one at that.

Well that’s it for now, the dogs want out so I’ll close this note. See you later gaters…….

Make two spots between rounds 2 and 3, 3 spots between rounds 3 and 4, and 2 spots between rounds 4 and 5. Once it is done, use your tapestry needle to close the elytra.  Make the spots on the second elytra. Be careful, make them on the right side! Place them onto the body to make sure to have the spots on the correct side (the first round of the elytra must be toward the outside – see pictures).

https://www.natalinacraft.com/free-crochet-pattern-ladybug-amigurumi-patron-gratuit-coccinelle/

Once it is done, you can attach the elytra to the body, above the wings. If you want to be able to open and close them, sew them only by a little stitch through the top of the elytra (I also added a little stitch to join the top of both elytra together)

Eyebrows (facultative) :
You can decide to add eyebrows to give more facial expressions to your ladybug. I used a single string of white yarn with a tapestry needle and made two small eyebrows above the eyes

Congratulations, your crochet ladybug is done! If you made it, please be sure to tag @natalinacraft on social media with the hashtag #natalinacraft, I would love to see your work!
